Does a Fancy burger exist? Yes. Burger Burger has class, fresh goods and deliciousness in and between the buns they serve. Fancy Burgers do exist.
Sick of McDonalds or some takeaway place – Burger Burger is the place that takes the shame away from burger eating and adds a nice modern attitude using fresh ingredients. They also don’t shy away from innovation – there’s a new special burger every week or so, I’d highly recommend those if you got an extra $16 to spend.
Their Beef Burger is amazing – medium rare and with a real melt in the mouth sensation.
I heard the hype about Burger Burger before going there. I’m usually very sceptical when something is hyped up (Lewis Road Chocolate Road is a great example of hyped up disappointment) but Burger Burger is a great example when high expectations are met – Consistently. I have dined here several times and taken numerous friends to hang out here. They all say that the Burgers are real good.
That’s because it is. My two favourites are the Beef and Lamb burgers but they do have a “bunnuce” option for carb conscious individuals – your burger wrapped in lettuce. Have yet to try this but I will if I ever feel flabby. Their potato skins and kumara chips are delicious and a great addition to any Burger Burger fix.
Burger Burger is becoming a Kiwi’s go to place for burger feed and they know it. However they are more than welcoming of new patronage – they really treat the whole Burger Burger eating as an experience. It is common for the waiters/waitresses to ask if you have dined there before – their burgers are different and they want to make sure you’re taken care of.
This is not a typical Burger joint. Burger Burger prides itself on not being a typical takeaway or Fast food joint – it is most definitely not. So don’t expect the prices to be of McDonalds. No doubt if the same amount of coin at Burger Burger, you could probably buy 3 or 4 burgers of Maccas. But I don’t eat McDonalds (haven’t eaten a burger from them in over 5 years) and proud not to. So expect to pay for a QUALITY burger. They’re $12 bucks each but it’s WORTH IT.
