Just when I thought Auckland was struggling with decent dessert places – Miann comes in and blows my mind! What an amazing place!
Sorry Milse, I have a new love affair – Miann is an absolute amazing dessert place for the sweet tooth and night gobblers. Miann has the advantage of having more seats than Milse however get in quick as it gets full at night!
Their desserts change on a frequent basis but look out for their specials – I had this decadent chocolate ice cream with donut (it had a fancier name).
The desserts are proudly pretentious and their price tag reflects this – an A la Carte dessert is $15.
The staff were happy to tell you what the specials are and will explain to you in detail how the desserts are made.
I just want to eat everything in this place – Miann is taking dessert to a whole new sensory experience and willing to try new things. Their desserts use the combination of fresh, freeze dried fruit or some other textured variety with another third dimension of either tea or alcohol to make a truly sumptuous experience for the taste buds.
