This review is a bit different as this wonderful restaurant is located in Malaysia! Chuup is the vocally translated Hainanese word for Eat! Chuup is a Non-halal restaurant that serves a range of traditional Malaysian dishes with a modern twist and modern setting. The restaurant is laid out beautifully and is spacious. Their Grandmas Pork chop is the main speciality and it is the one dish everyone should try!
Quick and Attentive. Our server told us that they had the last rib on special and it was not to be missed. Followed up with our meals and happily took some photos of our table.
The price is right for the location, ambience, service and food. Especially in Damansara Jaya. Far more affordable than Victoria station!
It’s homemade food without being at home. And it tastes fantastic. Their popiah is fresh and is the perfect way to start a meal without feeling bloated. Their signature dish the Grandmas Pork chop really feels like it was homemade by a grandma but this recipe has endured well and it tastes great. The highlight thought was the special homemade ribs – my goodness this needs to be a regular on their menu because the marinade was delectably lip licking good!
